you.and.me

what would the weekend be without a post?
this week was pretty good...exciting, fun & promising.
I've become closer to some of the people at work. They went to our show this past week and screamed there little hearts out for us!

Z got a new picture phone!
Cathy started a blog! www.hazelgoods.com
I got a sony psp.
my mom moved out of her house and into a new one.
G is moving out of her apartment.
I have a crush...bad I know! haha
herbie (my dog) is sleeping next to me as i write this.
erica bought a hot air popcorn popper
dave still doesnt work

next weekend should be an interesting, crazy fun weekend...i'll let you know the scoop...mmm you love scoops of ice cream...

on a side note my cat barney who lived with my mom was put to sleep this week. i've lost two of my favorite cats in about a year (barney & vanessa). barney loved me and i loved him so much as well. he was such an affectionate, nice cat. if i started to pat him and then stopped and walked away he would follow me around where-ever i went like a dog...animals to me are just as an important if not more important than humans are to me. i wish more people felt the way i did about animals. if i ever have alot of money or become famous alot of my support will be given to no kill animal shelters and the protection of animals...now i just need to become a vegetarian...
RIP Barney =(

into.the.brave.new.world

i can hear fireworks from seaworld going off...i'm about 1 mile away...the damn grand finale is going off. i'm listening to richard ashcroft. i've got a white tshirt on, black shorts, black sox, and blue boxers.

ryan adams lights up the airwaves in my bedroom now...the lights are off..this next quote goes out to someone that sent me something last week "thanks for the bloody present" the bloody part goes along with something they are doing in their life in relation to the opposite sex.

i did my taxes. i'm getting $368/federal - $68/massachusetts & paying $11/california.
that ain't too bad for a return im remotely happy. i'm going to buy a video camera with this money. i should probably save it but im a doosh bag.

my.last.day.of.24

changing your ways cause you don't know what to do.

after high school time just seems to go faster than imaginable. i remember the day i started working at putnam investments. i was 19 years old basically just out of high school. that time period seems so different then where i am now and the people that surround me today. life expectancy in this age is 75 years old, i'm turning 25 tomorrow which means that i am basically 1/3 dead or 1/3 life lived which ever you so choose. i can only think that time goes faster from here cause it seems the older i get the faster time goes. all my fears derive from the fear of death. if only i could get over that..=)

i'm not happy working office jobs but i like to have money in my pocket. i also like the ability to buy the things i like in life. it seems it will be a dilema that will haunt me the rest of my life. i would love to make music that people would actually listen to and enjoy and get something out of it. the people that listen to my music now basically only listen once and put it down never to listen to it again. thats just the way music works unless you're on the radio or have actual fans which are finding it hard to get. haha man this is kind of a depressing blog...I should start over and think of the good things that happen over the course of many birthdays. it's so cliche of me to be all depressed that i am getting older. i am actually not depressed or unhappy of my incoming quarter century of living its just that i am questioning what i want to do that will make me the most content and happy in life. then again i doubt i will ever be content, i'm always on the lookout for something new and more interesting...have it be girls, music, technology, etc...

things to do before you turn 25:
get a dog
talk to someone you havent in a while from your school days
go to a wake or funeral
move far away from home
vote
watch the news
steal music
get an ipod
have sex
break someones heart
get your heart broken
buy stocks
save your money
write a song
quit a job/walkout
go to a psychologist/psychiatrist
take antidepressants
give up something you love
go back to church/never return again
don't take yourself serious.

you.wrote.it.i.just.thought.it

i want you and i want him.

hello,

it seems every girl i meet these days is either married or in a long term boyfriend situation. there's this one girl who has been dating someone for such a long time, but she and i have this weird little sick connection. i feel like she wants to take the jump but she has too many wires tangled together that if she did her world would be completely different and crazy the next day. she'd lose everything that is close to her. i kinda feel like thats kinda exciting & sometimes you need to do out of the ordinary things to shake up your life and wash the dust from the top shelf. it sheds your old skin, makes you new and dangerous, & unpredictable.

think about it.

just.friends

i started to do a bit of dating i guess you could call it, but its not dating if both people agree its not dating so i guess its "hanging out"
i asked this one girl to hangout where i temp at and she said sure but she's not looking to date right now. i said thats cool we can just hang. we ended up going out to eat at an irish pub. i got a grilled chicken sandwich and she got some sausage/turkey sandwich..we then drove to a place called la jolla which i pronounced "la joe-luh" haha - she got a good laugh out of that. she took to me through the little shopping district they have which is really cool but looks very expensive. we drove a bit down the street and ended up at the beach. the beach is awesome there - it's basically a rocky beach with cliffs. its very pretty, and i guess the sea lions sit on the beach in the day time.
after the beach we drove to her house and hung out with her roomate and watched a bit of tv and then i went home. she's very cute, confident and intelligent. we differ on things like politics where she is a right wing republican and i am a democrat. she's motivated to be something important in life and i am motivated to just live one day at a time and enjoy life by working as least i can. she and i hung out again tonight and we watched the movie "saved" which i brought over for her to keep since she is kind of religious - she says "spirtual"
her roomate, her friend and i were there to watch the movie. i'd like to get to know her better but i dont think she is interested in that. i think she strictly just wants to be friends. i love friends =P

who's down with the g-o-d?

this.is.the.new year

2005 came with bang literally! dave, erica & i hung out with our friends laurie, kevin & mike at a bar in ocean beach. it was a hippie bar, that had this hippie jam band guy with a poet/rapper dude performing. it was different but alot of the same old boring hippie jam shit. dave had alot to drink that night and when we were driving back to laurie's house he passed out. i opened the door to let him out of the car and he little fell head first out of the car. i caught his head so thankfully his head only hid the cement a little bit. we then got him to walk a bit by kevin, mike & i holding him up. we reached the fences entrance and he fell again - threw up everywhere and passed out again. we then got him into laurie & mike's house and he continued to puke. we left him there for the night and i picked him up the next morning. he recovered the rest of the day at our house.
friends in 2005

i started a new temp job today. it's a pretty lame assignment, calling companies IT departments and asking them questions about their servers and phone systems. i asked the trainer what the company gets, by doing the survey over the phone with us and she said nothing. it seems to be a pretty lame job. i mean why would someone that works at a company want to sit on the phone for 15 minutes and do some lame interview and get nothing out of it. it makes no sense to me at all. once we have all the info we wanted we then sell it to big name tech companies.
