the best girlfriend i've ever had in my life and my best friend in the whole world has lost her father. we finished our show this past friday when we got home and erica was checking her voicemails. she received a voicemail from her mom out of the blue @ 2am, announcing her dad was in the intensive care unit. she then received another phone call from a family friend saying her dad was in a coma on life support. saturday evening at dinner she received another phone call that her dad had died of a bacteria infection. it was just a short few weeks ago she was talking with her dad who was in perfect health and in the matter of 2 days he is gone. i feel so bad for her. she is the nicest, sweetest person i've ever met in my life. the things i remember most about her dad was he loved to eat and talk about food for days on end. he told terrific stories - he used to come down to vermont with erica's mom to our apartment in blackstone, ma and we'd go out for lunch and he'd tell these stories that would keep your attention and make you feel like it was movie. he was super smart, religious, knew alot about town water since that was his job, loved to count things including how many ants he killed in the house, he was unique, he was stubborn, he loved his cat, he loved to be outdoors...he lived life without all the gagdets, expensive clothes and cars that people think make them happy. he lived a simple life and was happy with it.
one of the sweetest things i always remember about him is him sending erica letters in the mail telling her whats going on his life, the families that are in close contact with them, and how much he missed her...he'd also always put a scratch ticket in their hoping erica would win a small fortune. he lived life under his own terms and showed his love for others in ways that sometimes you had to think about but was just as meaningful and heartfelt as conventional ways.

my bestest friend zdenek janda from massachusetts is coming out to california this saturday. when i see that little man run off the airplane and into my arms i am going to give him the biggest kiss known to man. i haven't seen this little guy since november 2004! kisses, hugs, lust, pizza, gatorade and anal stimulation will be happening like no ones news!
erica and i are going up to los angeles saturday night and meeting up with z's sister viviane and then off to the airport to pick up z and his wonderful wife cathy. then its off to some cheap motel and megs bday party. california kings for one night anyway!

this week was pretty good...exciting, fun & promising.

on a side note my cat barney who lived with my mom was put to sleep this week. i've lost two of my favorite cats in about a year (barney & vanessa). barney loved me and i loved him so much as well. he was such an affectionate, nice cat. if i started to pat him and then stopped and walked away he would follow me around where-ever i went like a dog...animals to me are just as an important if not more important than humans are to me. i wish more people felt the way i did about animals. if i ever have alot of money or become famous alot of my support will be given to no kill animal shelters and the protection of animals...now i just need to become a vegetarian...

changing your ways cause you don't know what to do.

after high school time just seems to go faster than imaginable. i remember the day i started working at putnam investments. i was 19 years old basically just out of high school. that time period seems so different then where i am now and the people that surround me today. life expectancy in this age is 75 years old, i'm turning 25 tomorrow which means that i am basically 1/3 dead or 1/3 life lived which ever you so choose. i can only think that time goes faster from here cause it seems the older i get the faster time goes. all my fears derive from the fear of death. if only i could get over that..=)

i'm not happy working office jobs but i like to have money in my pocket. i also like the ability to buy the things i like in life. it seems it will be a dilema that will haunt me the rest of my life. i would love to make music that people would actually listen to and enjoy and get something out of it. the people that listen to my music now basically only listen once and put it down never to listen to it again. thats just the way music works unless you're on the radio or have actual fans which are finding it hard to get. haha man this is kind of a depressing blog...I should start over and think of the good things that happen over the course of many birthdays. it's so cliche of me to be all depressed that i am getting older. i am actually not depressed or unhappy of my incoming quarter century of living its just that i am questioning what i want to do that will make me the most content and happy in life. then again i doubt i will ever be content, i'm always on the lookout for something new and more interesting...have it be girls, music, technology, etc...

hello,

it seems every girl i meet these days is either married or in a long term boyfriend situation. there's this one girl who has been dating someone for such a long time, but she and i have this weird little sick connection. i feel like she wants to take the jump but she has too many wires tangled together that if she did her world would be completely different and crazy the next day. she'd lose everything that is close to her. i kinda feel like thats kinda exciting & sometimes you need to do out of the ordinary things to shake up your life and wash the dust from the top shelf. it sheds your old skin, makes you new and dangerous, & unpredictable.
